Claude Ai
Claude is a family of artificial intelligence assistants developed by Anthropic, an AI research company founded in 2021 by former OpenAI researchers, including siblings Dario Amodei and Daniela Amodei. Anthropic was created with a strong focus on AI safety, transparency, and responsible development.
Claude was first introduced in March 2023 as a conversational AI assistant designed to compete with ChatGPT while emphasizing safer and more reliable responses through a method called Constitutional AI. Over time, Anthropic released several improved versions, including Claude 2 in 2023 and the Claude 3 family (Haiku, Sonnet, and Opus) in 2024, which significantly improved reasoning, coding, and multimodal capabilities.
The Claude family continued to evolve with newer generations, offering larger context windows, better reasoning, and advanced AI agent features. Today, Claude is widely used for writing, coding, research, business tasks, and document analysis, making it one of the leading AI assistants in the world.
